Fredyagrion jeromei (Lencioni, Vilela & Furieri, 2021) comb. nov.

Etymology: Jeromei = named after Jérôme Constant, Hemiptera expert, Direction Taxonomy and Phylogeny and collection management expert at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences.

Deposition of type series. Holotype in FAAL (examined).

Larva described. No.

Material examined. (4 ♂♂): 1 ♂: ( FAAL – NC 4136 ) Brazil: Bahia, Mucuri—Paulo Freire settlement (in Aechmea sp. over a jackfruit tree, Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamark ), (15.0963 S, 39.6571 W), 11.i.2006, K.S. Furieri, A.F.Van de Koken, A.F. Matos leg. ; 1♂ same data of holotype but 10.v.2005 ; 1 ♂ ( IRSNB) same data of holotype but 05.iv.2005 ; 1♂ ( FAAL – NC 3984 ) same data of holotype but 13.iv.2005 .

Distribution. Brazil (Bahia).
