Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 20A View FIGURE 20 ). Wingspan 8.0− 8.5 mm. Thiotricha clinopeda is readily recognized by the white forewing with two distinct oblique streaks arising from dorsum. The male genitalia ( Fig. 43D, L View FIGURE 43 ) are somewhat similar to those of T. pediformis , but T. clinopeda has the uncus covered with long setae and the more slender valva with ventral margin broadly concave medially. The female genitalia ( Fig. 60C View FIGURE 60 ) can be distinguished from its allies by the broad ductus bursae abruptly expanded after the base.
Distribution. China (Yunnan), India, Sri Lanka.
Remarks. This species is recorded from China for the first time.
