T hailand: ―Only known from the type collection.
Distribution: ―Endemic to Thailand (Northern).
Ecology: ―Evergreen forest at an elevation of 1000 m.
Note: ― Lasianthus bicolor was described by Craib in 1933 from a Thai specimen (A. F. G. Kerr 6180). This name is accepted in the World Checklist of Selected Plant Families (http://wcsp.science.kew.org/) but no additional specimens have been located in Thai herbaria. We studied the morphological characters from the holotype (K) and the isotype was examined at BK providing the characters given in the key to the species.
