48. Lasianthus rabilii Craib (1933:24) View in CoL . Type: ― THAILAND. Trang, Kao Kao (possibly a misspelling for Khao Keaw), 4 August 1929, Rabil 364 (holotype K000777012!; isotype BK257393!, E00327850 image!).
T hailand: ―Only known from the type collection.
Distribution: ―Endemic to Thailand (Peninsular).
Ecology: ―Evergreen forest, edge of forest.
Notes: ― Lasianthus rabilii is known only from the type specimens and original description. It is similar to L. constrictus but it differs by having leaves that are oblong, oblong-oblanceolate or elliptic-oblanceolate (not lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate), 7‒13 × 3‒5 (not 8‒13 × 3‒4) cm, adaxially glabrous, abaxially sparsely hirsute (not sparsely strigose), it has triangular stipules that are 3 (not 3–4) mm long and sparely hirsute (not sparsely strigose), fresh fruits black (not blue), drupes globose with base narrowed (not ovoid or ellipsoid), 6‒7 (not 8–10) mm diameter when dried, with 4 (not 2‒4) pyrenes.
