Distribution: — Malaysia (Peninsular, Sabah), Indonesia (Sumatra, Kalimantan), Thailand (Peninsular).
Ecology: —Moist evergreen forest in shaded places at an elevation of 100‒ 600 m. Flowering in August‒October and fuiting in November‒February.
Notes: ― Lasianthus perakensis is different from other species of Lasianthus by having 10 pyrenes in all drupes which is easily observed in the fruiting state when dried.
