CURRENT STATUS: Junior synonym of Notiphila Fallén, 1810 [teste Mathis & Zatwarnicki (1995: 103)].
FAMILY: EPHYDRIDAE .
EMENDATION: Ceratocera Agassiz, 1846b: 73 (unjustified).
