Diagnosis. Uroctea concolor resembles U. thaleri by the insemination and fertilization ducts which are delicate and thin, but can be distinguished by the long, ovoid and contiguous spermathecae and the shorter fertilization ducts, without a blind ending additional duct ( Fig 2 View FIGURES 1 – 2 ).

Description. Male. Unknown.

Female (holotype). Carapace brown, variegated with dark brown laterally and along thoracic grooves. Cephalic area dark brown, with a V-shaped mark extending from lateral eyes to posterior border. Eye borders black. Pedipalps and legs brown, with coxae light orange. Femur of legs and pedipalps with three longitudinal darker stripes. Chelicerae dark orange. Sternum light orange, with darker, sclerotized borders. Labium and endites orange, cream colored distally. Opisthosoma greenish gray dorsally, mottled by very small and slightly visible cream colored spots. Dorsum with three pairs of brown muscular pits. Venter yellow-gray. Spinnerets orange, posterior laterals yellow-gray. Total length 10.1. Carapace 3.8 long, 3.4 wide. Eye size and interdistances: AME 0.3, ALE 0.26, PME 0.2, PLE 0.14, AME–AME 0.12, AME–ALE 0.02, ALE–PLE 0.06, PME– PME 0.40, PME–PLE contiguous, AME–PME 0.10. Clypeus 0.9 high. Leg measurements: I femur 3.3/ patella 1.8/ tibia 2.1/ metatarsus 2.8/ tarsus 1.5/ total 11.5. II 3.4/ 2.0/ 2.2/ 2.9/ 1.4/ 11.9. III 1.4/ 1.7/ 2.1/ 2.9/ 1.4/ 9.5. IV 3.6/ 2.1/ 2.0/ 3.0/ 1.5/ 12.2. Opisthosoma 8.2 long, 4.3 wide. Epigynum small, with a median plate delimited by two small, lateral lobes ( Fig 1 View FIGURES 1 – 2 ). Insemination ducts long, with a median loop close to spermathecae ( Fig 2 View FIGURES 1 – 2 ).

Distribution. Known only from the type locality.

Material examined. Only the holotype.
