Genus Plagiochilus Wasmann, 1900
This is a controversial genus. Rojkoff (2013) revised partially this genus and Aspilus Westwood, 1874 , referring that the synonymy between both (see Ruter & Leleup 1977; Marais & Holm 1992 and Antoine 2010) can not be maintained since the two genera exhibit some characteristics of their own and he recommended their thorough revision. Krajcik (2008b) followed this criterion keeping both genera, but Schoolmeesters (2019) did not. Here, I follow Krajcik (2008b) and Rojkoff (2013). One species was recorded previously for Guinea-Bissau ( Brivio 1958). I give a new species record for this country.
