Remarks. It is the type species of a group with its own name (sensu Schein 1954a) and seems common and spread throughout all the territory of GBI. The species is widespread throughout West and part of Central Africa ( Schein 1954a; Schoolmeesters 2019). Mudge et al. (2012) provided data on habitat preference and abundance of this species in GHA. See also general comments in Schein (1954a) and the remarks under the genus Coenochilus ( Serrano et al. 2020) . Quite all the GBI specimens were sampled by LT ( Fig. 2c ). It is a new species record for BIS, CAC, GAB, QUN and TOB Administrative Regions of Guinea-Bissau.
