Material examined: Coli (Quebo) (11º 37´01.63´´ N, 14º 46´13.80´´ W, 48m alt.) (TOB), 2.VII.1995, 1 ♀, BT, A. Serrano leg., ASC GoogleMaps .
Remarks. The species is widespread throughout West, Central and part of Oriental Africa. It is a common species in Africa and considered a forest habitat generalist species by Mudge et al. (2012). Some ecological notes were given by Malec (2015). It is syntopic with Charadronota quadrisignata ( Gory & Percheron, 1833) in Coli and seems to be rare, taking into account the specimens of both species sampled in this locality (see next species). It is a new species record for Guinea-Bissau.
