Material examined: none.

Remarks. The species presents a wide distribution throughout West and Central Africa ( Beinhundner 2017b; Schoolmeesters 2019). Some morphological features of D. cyanea (male parameres, scutellum, protibiae) were provided by Beinhundner (2013, 2017a). Biodiversity information (e.g. abundance, habitat preference, phenology) were provided for GHA by Mudge et al. (2012) and Joly (2018). Biological and other ecological data are not available.
