Genus Pachnoda Burmeister, 1842

The genus was revised by Rigout (1989) and is very rich with almost 120 described species ( Beinhundner 2017b, but see comments in Serrano et al. 2020). Five species were previously recorded for Guinea-Bissau ( Janson 1907; Brivio 1958; Beinhundner 2017b; Schoolmeesters 2019) and here I give one new species record to this country.
