( Figs. 3c, d View FIGURE 3 )

Distribution: BFO, GBI, GHA, MLI, RCA, RCI.

Distribution in Guinea-Bissau (Administrative Regions): 2) TOB.

Historic records: none.

Material examined: Coli (Quebo) (11º 37´01.63´´ N, 14º 46´13.80´´ W, 48m alt.) (TOB), 10.VII.1995, 1 ♂, BT, Bivar de Sousa leg., ASC GoogleMaps .

Remarks. There are two subspecies within Pachnoda ardoini Ruter, 1978 . The nominal subspecies is considered rare and was described on the basis of both sexes specimens from BFO (=“Haute‒Volta”), RCI and RCA ( Ruter 1978). Devecis (2001) recorded it to several localities of MLI. The Coli adult specimen was sampled by BT ( Fig. 2a View FIGURE 2 ) in open forest ( Fig. 2e View FIGURE 2 ) and fits well to this subspecies, including the shape of parameres ( Fig. 3d View FIGURE 3 ). Legrand (2010) provided some comments on the mimetism among P. ardoini and other four species/subspecies of Pachnoda genus. Biodiversity information (abundance, habitat preference) was provided for GHA by Mudge et al. (2012) and Joly (2018). Biological and other ecological data are not available for this species. It is a new species record for Guinea-Bissau.
