Historic records:

— Bolama (BOL) ( Janson 1907 sub Jothochilus undulatus Kolbe );

— Bafatá (BAF) ( Brivio 1958 sub Jothochilus undulatus Kolbe ).

Material examined: none.

Remarks. The species is distributed throughout West Africa ( Legrand 2010; Le Gall 2015; Beinhundner 2017b). Biological data are not available, but Le Gall (2015) provided some ecological remarks for Benin.
