The circumscriptus -group

We assign nine species from China to this group: P. acricauda Liu & Chen , sp. n., P. argyresthiae Liu & Chen , sp. n., P. arisba ( Nixon, 1973) , P. circumscriptus (Nees) , P. confusus Liu & Chen , sp. n., P. f l a v i p ar v u s Liu & Chen, sp. n., P. lithocolletis Liu & Chen , sp. n., P. lyonetiae Liu & Chen , sp. n., and P. t eresi tergum Liu & Chen, sp. n. Distinguishable features of this group in Photelesor are as follows: T1 much longer than broad, narrowing posteriorly, polished and smooth or very weakly sculptured posteriorly; T2 subtriangular, smooth, shorter than T3; T3 smooth, not rounded posterolaterally.
