Diagnosis. Mesonotum with three pair of grayish white median pruinose stripes and three pairs of grayish white lateral pruinose spots, one grayish white short pruinose stripe present between prescutellar setae, scutellum with a pair of grayish white pruinose spots at tip; two post-sutural dorsocentral setae; abdominal tergites 1–4 with discontinuous black transversal stripes, tergites 5–6 with six black spots.

Description. Male: body length 2.8–3.0 mm, wing length 3.0– 3.1 mm. Female: body length 2.8 mm, wing length 3.0 mm.

Frons wider than long and parallel-sided, anterior margin yellow; ocellar triangle black, ocellar setae developed; anterior fronto-orbital setae reclinate, shorter than posterior fronto-orbital setae. Gena about about 1/6 height of eye. Antennal scape and pedicel black, first flagellomere yellow except blackish brown at middle, about 1.5 times longer than high; arista black except brown basally, plumose with longest setulae longer than height of first flagellomere. Proboscis blackish brown, with black setulae; palpus black with black setulae.

Thorax ( Fig. 153 View FIGURES 150–154 ) blackish brown, with grayish white pruinescence. Mesonotum with a pair of grayish white median pruinose stripes, two pairs of grayish white lateral pruinose stripes and three pairs of grayish white lateral pruinose spots, one grayish white short pruinose stripe present between prescutellar setae, scutellum with a pair of grayish white pruinose spots at tip; two post-sutural dorsocentral setae; acrostichal setulae in six rows; a pair of prescutellar setae, at the same level with second post-sutural dorsocentral setae, far away from scutellum, shorter than the first post-sutural dorsocentral setae. One anepisternal seta, two katepisternal setae. Fore coxa, trochanter and femora brown, tibia and tarsi yellow; mid and hind femora brown except yellow at middle, coxa, trochanter, tibia and tarsi yellow, coxa partly black; all tibiae with three brown rings. Fore femur with eight posterior dorsal setae, six posterior setae and seven posterior ventral setae; fore tibia with one dorsal preapical seta and one apical ventral seta. Mid femur with six anterior setae; mid tibia with one strong dorsal preapical seta and one strong apical ventral seta. Hind tibia with one strong preapical anterior dorsal seta. Wing ( Fig. 151 View FIGURES 150–154 ) hyaline and pale brown basally, tip of subcostal cell with one brown spot; costa with 2nd (between R 1 and R 2+3), 3rd (between R 2+3 and R 4+5), and 4th (between R 4+5 and M 1) sections in proportion of 13.9: 4.8: 3.1; r-m before the middle of discal cell; ultimate and penultimate sections of M 1 in proportion of 9.0: 7.4; ultimate section of CuA 1 about 1/4 of penultimate section. Haltere pale yellow.
