Lophophaena View in CoL ? leberu Renaudie and Lazarus, 2012

Plate 27, Figs. 5A–B View FIGURE 5 .

Lophophaena ? leberu n. sp., Renaudie and Lazarus, 2012, pl. 22, figs. 12A–14B.

Remarks. Our specimen differs slightly from the specimens figured by Renaudie and Lazarus (2012) in that the horns on the cephalis are less prominent. However, the positioning of these horns and the overall shell proportions are very similar, suggesting it is likely the same species.

Range. One specimen from the Early Pliocene in the EEP ( Table 1 View TABLE 1 ). Present in the Southern Ocean from the Early–Late Miocene.
