GUILLAUMIN (1911a) listed both this name and Pancheria laevis separately, though elsewhere ( GUILLAUMIN 1911b, 1941) he said they were synonymous, and the same as C. nitida , though he had not seen PANCHER’ s material. A sheet of Pancher s. n. at K labelled “ Codia laevis ” is indeed C. nitida .
