Indian records: Sikkim ( Hampson 1903b), Kangra, Sikkim ( Hampson 1899a), North India ( Rose & Dhillon 1980c), Punjab, Tamil Nadu (Nilgiri Hills), Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow), West Bengal ( Singh et al. 2019d), Maharashtra, Assam, Delhi, West Bengal, Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu ( Sondhi et al. 2021). Global records: West and South Africa, Sri Lanka, China (Taiwan), Philippines, Indo-Malayan (Sumatra, Java, Sula, Sangir, Amboina), Australia (Queensland, New South Wales), Fiji, Moreton Bay ( Singh et al. 2019d).
Remark: Polyocha tricoloralis Hampson, 1903b is the replacement name for Polyocha variegatella Hampson, 1899c , a junior homonym of Polyocha variegatella Ragonot, 1888 .
