Type locality: India, Tamil Nadu, Nilgiri, W. slopes, 3000 ft
= Crambus nigriciliellus (misspell.) ( Hampson 1896b: 17)
Distribution. Indian records: Nilgirirs, South India ( Hampson 1896b), Dharmsala, Bombay ( Caradja 1925), Kerala ( Das et al. 2020a). Global records: Vietnam ( Tonkin) ( de Joannis 1930), not present in Japan or China, as stated by Hampson (1896) ( Bleszynski 1964).
