Type locality: India, Sikkim, West Bengal, Darjeeling
Distribution. Indian records: North Hindostan ( Walker 1859a), Darjeeling ( Snellen, 1890), Sikkim ( Hampson 1896b), India ( Qi et al. 2017), Arunachal Pradesh ( Sondhi et al. 2021). Global records: China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Taiwan, Yunnan, Zhejiang), Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand ( Qi et al. 2017).
