Distribution. Indian records: N. W. Himalayas ( Gupta 1994), India ( Alipanah et al. 2020). Global records: Europe, Syria, Japan, China ( Hampson 1896b), Korea ( Bae et al. 2008), America North of Mexico ( Scholtens & Solis 2015), widespread in the Palaearctic, but rare in southern Scandinavia and only an occasional migrant in England and Iran [Fars Province: Come (=Komehr)], Gilan Province: Tahergourabe, Golestan Province: Golestan National Park (Ghaleh Palangan)] ( Alipanah et al. 2020).
