Type locality: Ceylon [ Sri Lanka]

Distribution. Indian records: Shillong (Meghalaya), North India ( Rose & Dhillon 1980c), Sikkim, Nilgiri (Tamil Nadu), Dehradun ( UP [presently in Uttarakhand]) ( Gupta 1994). Global records: Ceylon ( Hampson 1896b).
