Remarks. No additional specimens of this species were found in this study. Paragigagnathus tamaricis was originally described from the holotype female, 34 paratype females and eight paratype males collected in Israel. The original description was rather detailed, with illustrations and setal measurements. Afrogigagnatus tawfiki was originally described from the holotype female collected in Giza governorate, Egypt. The original description was reasonably detailed, with illustrations, but with measurements only of the idiosoma and palps.
