Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 24–28 ) wingspan 18.0–25.0 mm. Calamotropha sienkiewiczi is diagnosed by the white forewing with the orange yellow medial fascia bearing yellowish brown speckle at costal margin and at middle respectively, and the yellow terminal margin with four black dots on posterior 2/5; in the male genitalia by the rectangular valva with two narrow sclerites apically and with a narrow fold extending from base to apex above the ventral margin, and the vesica with two sets of 19–20 spiniform cornuti ( Fig. 48 View FIGURES 46–50 ); in the female genitalia by the semicircular lamella postvaginalis and the slender elongate lamella postvaginalis 2/3 the length of the funnel-shaped antrum ( Fig. 68 View FIGURES 65–69 ). This species is similar to C. bleszynskii sp. nov. and C. parvispina sp. nov., and the differences between them are stated in the diagnoses of the latter two species.
Distribution. China (Anhui, Chongqing, Fujian, Gansu, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Shanghai, Zhejiang).
Remarks. We found the female of C. multicornuella Chen & Song, 2002 to be identical to that of C. sienkiewiczi Bleszynski, 1961 and the male was different from it. As stated in the remarks of C. bleszynskii sp. nov., the male of C. sienkiewiczi Bleszynski (1961) was described as C. bleszynskii sp. nov. Here we propose C. multicornuella as a synonym of C. sienkiewiczi , and the male in C. multicornuella was actually the male of C. sienkiewiczi .
