Record as epibiont on cnidarians: This species was reported on hydroids from Strait of Georgia ( Wailes 1943: Mccazuley & Hancock 1971).

Record as epibiont on other hosts/ substrata: This species was found also on Bryozoa and algae from Strait of Georgia ( Wailes 1943, Mccazuley & Hancock 1971). Widely distributed marine species, found on different hosts and substrates in the caribbean mangrove peat wall sunken wood and leaf debris in Twin CaysIsland, Belize and Guadeloupe, French West Indies; in the Gulf of Mexico, in the Florida Keys; in the Atlantic Ocean, Lanzarote, the Canary Islands; on rocks near sea grass debris accumulation in the Mediterranean Sea, Corsica, France; in the Red Sea and growing on bones of a whale fall deployed in the Tokyo Bay, Japan ( Bright et al. 2014).
