Record as epibiont on cnidarians: The species was originaly described found on hydroids from St. Heliers, Jersey, UK ( Kent 1881). This species was also observed on hydroids from Roscoff and Concarneau (Atlantic coast of France), Nieuwport ( Belgium), the Kola Bay of the Barents Sea ( Kahl 1934).
Record as epibiont on other hosts: The species was also found on Bryozoa ( Kahl 1934) and tunicate of genus Polyzoa from St. Heliers, Jersey, UK ( Kent 1881).
