Almafuerte facon View in CoL sp. nov.
( Figs. 19 a–e View FIGURE 19 ; 20 e–f; 22b)
Type. Holotype male from Bolivia: Cochabamba Department, 10 km. Sacaba , elev. 3300 m, 28–29.I.1976, without collector (MACN-Ar 18154, prep. CJG 1518).
Etymology. The “ facón ” is a knife (used as tool and as weapon) by the gauchos. The specific epithet refers to the straight and acute shape of the ventral branch of the RTA in retrolateral view.
Diagnosis. The male of A. facon is similar in the RTA, and the general shape of the bulb to that of A. goloboffi , but the ventral protrusion of the ventral part of tegulum is less pronounced. Other differences from A. goloboffi are the more straight ventral branch of the RTA (in retrolateral view), and the absence of a distal ventral retrolateral ledge on the palpal patella ( Fig. 20 f View FIGURE 20 ).
