Distribution. Europe.
Matrial examined. Zakarpatska Prov.: 1 spec. ( KUMN) Uzhhorod Distr. , Onokivtsi, Lysa Hora, 28.vi.1962 ; 1 spec. ( KUMN) Uzhhorod env., Goryany [=Gerény], 28.vi.1962 .
Biology. Deciduous and mixed forests. Adults occur in V–VII. Polyphagous, mostly on Acer pseudoplatanus .
Note. Record from Desniansko-Starogunsky National Park in Sumy Province ( Nazarenko 2006a: 129) is based on misidentified Ph. argentatus .
