Distribution. Endemic to Carpathians.

( KUMN) Marmarosh Mts. , Holovachiu Mt. Range, upper course of Schaul River, NE slope of Nenyaska, N. Yunakov leg., 11.vii.2000 ; 5 spec. ( KUMN) Marmarosh Mts. , Holovachiu Mt. Range, middle course of Schaul River, along road, N. Yunakov leg., 14.vii.2000 ; 5 spec. ( KUMN) Chornohora Mt. Range , urochische Tovsty Grunj, N. Yunakov leg., 17.vii.2000 .

Biology. Montane deciduous and mixed forests. Adults occur in V–VIII. Polyphagous, mostly on Salix caprea .
