Biology. Forests, meadows, shrublands. Adults occur in V–IX (Gumovsky 1997). On Scrophulariaceae : Scrophularia nodosa ( Penecke 1928; Wingelmüller 1937; Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1976); Verbascum thapsus ( Wingelmüller 1937) ; S. canina , S. umbrosa , V. blattaria ( Wingelmüller 1937; Hoffmann 1958); V. chaixii , V. lychnitis , V. nigrum ( Hoffmann 1958) ; Limosella aquatica (it is probably misidentified Scrophularia umbrosa ) ( Smreczyński 1976).

Note. Historical record from Crimea ( Hummel 1827: 41) is doubtful and probably belongs to another species.
