Distribution. Europe, Caucasus, West Siberia, North Africa ( Alonso-Zarazaga 2011a).
Material examined. Sumy Prov.: 1 spec. ( SIZK) Stara Huta env., Desniansko-Starohutskyi National Park , near gate, sweeping, V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 19.vi.2006 .
Biology. Pine forests, sandy and stony habitats Adults occur in V–IX ( Dieckmann 1977). On Rumex acetosella (Polygonaceae) ( Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1965; Dieckmann 1977; Mazur 2002).
