Diagnosis. Face 1/2 as long as eye width, yellow; frontal triangle yellow. Proepimeron yellow; scutum black except broadly yellow laterally; scutellum yellow, black pilose; anepimeron brown, yellow dorsomedially. Pro and mesofemora yellow, metafemur yellow with black annulus; pro and meso tibiae yellow, metatibia yellow to brownish. Wing extensively microtrichose; alula broader than cell BM appically, microtrichose. Abdomen with 3 rd and 4 th terga entirely yellow on basal 2/3 which sometimes contain two small medial brown to black spots ( Fig. 33). Surstylus broader apicad; postanal process 3/4 as long as surstylus; aedeagus enlarged, proeminent dorsally; superior lobe somewhat quadrangular with short posterodorsal extension, forked distad, with scattered hairs, and setae longer along ventral margin.

Female genitalia: 9 th tergum somewhat a heart shape black macula; epiproct slender; cercus slender; hypoproct as an rouded arch; 9 th sternum as in Fig. 120; three elliptical spermatecae similar in size ( Figs. 119–121).

Length. Body 8.2–10.0 mm, wing 6.3–7.6 mm.

Discussion. The synonymies were based on the examination of the male holotypes of Mesogramma mulio and Mesogramma norma .
