Zygina kagina Matsumura, 1932: 112 ; Erythroneura kagina Esaki & Ito, 1954: 217 ; Matsumurina kagina Dworakowska, 1972: 403 , Figs 30, 83, 84, 101–109; Chiang & Knight, 1990: 221, Fig. 17.

Description. Natural coloration unknown (specimens removed from alcohol). Vertex, anterior margin of pronotum and mesonotum pale yellow, central and posterior part of pronotum grey, large impressions distinct; eyes grey, basal triangles of mesonotum black. Fore wing grey, transparent, veins light brown.

Male 2S abdominal apodemes extended to hind margin of third sternite ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 c).

Pygofer side ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 d) short, weakly denticulated, without microsetae; dorsal appendage ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 . e) tapering towards apex, extremely long, extended far beyond hind margin of lobe. Ligament ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 d) relatively broad, integrated with pygofer dorsal appendage. Subgenital plate ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 d, f) exceeding hind margin of pygofer side, pointed apically, constriction short, at about midlength; with about 4 macrosetae near lateral margin and numerous microsetae on distal disc, marginal microsetae extended from near base to apex except in area of constriction. Style ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 g, i) sharply curved dorsad apically, apical part long, preapical lobe distinct. Connective ( Figs. 3 View FIGURE 3 h, i) with lateral arms relatively long. Aedeagal shaft ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 h, i) compressed, apical processes slightly asymmetrical, directed ventrad; branch of upper atrial appendage long, lamellate; ventral process broad, expanded subbasally in ventral view, surpasses midlength of shaft, apex concave.
