Geographical distribution. Distributed in Brazil, from Amazonas and Bahia to Rio Grande do Sul, and Bolivia (new country record).

Specimens examined. BRAZIL, Amazonas: Tabatinga, male, XII.1977, B. Silva leg. BOLIVIA, Santa Cruz: Buena Vista (4 – 6 km SSE Hotel Flora & Fauna), male, 2 – 12.II.2000, Wappes leg. (ACMT); same locality, male, 22 – 31.X.2002, Wappes & Morris leg. (ACMT).
