Type material. Paratype USNM 860390 View Materials (1 spm + 1 slide with sclerites + 1 slide with radula) .

Remarks. Scheltema (1998) recorded that this species was described from only two specimens. The holotype is in the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, Los Angeles, USA (LACM 2748).
