Spinotrioza Kwon & Kwon, 2020: 201, syn. nov.
Comments. Burckhardt & Lauterer (1997a) showed that the subgenus Klimaszewskiella is artificial and synonymised it with Bactericera . Kwon & Kwon (2020) treated the majority of Korean species under Bactericera (Klimaszewskiella) following Li (2011) and erected for one species, Bactericera calcarata , the genus Spinotrioza. The removal of a single species from Bactericera renders the latter paraphyletic. Here we adopt the more inclusive concept of Bactericera by Burckhardt & Lauterer (1997a) and Burckhardt et al. (2021) and synonymise Spinotrioza Kwon & Kwon, 2020: 201; type species Trioza calcarata Schaefer, 1949 , by original designation and monotypy, syn. nov., with Bactericera Puton, 1876: 286 ; type species Bactericera perrisi Puton, 1876 , by monotypy.
