Distribution in Korea. GB, GG, GN, GW, JJ, JN ( Park et al. 1980, as C. viridis ; Lee & Kwon 1981, as C. viridis ; Kwon 1983; Kwon & Kwon 2020) (KNA, SNU).
Host plant. Picrasma quassioides (D. Don) Benn. (Simaroubaceae) ( Kwon 1983).
Comments. The records of Calophya viridis from Korea by Park et al. (1980) and Lee & Kwon (1981) are misidentifications of C. shinjii and not a synonym of C. nigra as stated by Kwon (1983).
