Type host. Chrysophyllum gonocarpum (Mart. & Eichl. ex Miq.) Engl. (Sapotaceae) .
Type locality. Fazenda Capoava, Itú (23°12’36”S, 47°10’50”W), São Paulo, Brazil GoogleMaps .
Relationship to host plant. Vagrants on lower leaf surface, under debris along midrib and near to petiole ( Flechtmann 2004b).
Remark. Only known from the type host/locality. In some parts of the original description text Flechtmann (2004b) refers erroneously to the new species as Cenaca exigua , however this name should not be considered.
Type host plants status. Native tree, not endemic, occurring in Amazônia , Cerrado , Mata Atlântica , Pampa and Pantanal biomes ( Flora do Brasil 2020) .
