Only known from the type host/locality. Type host plant status. Native tree, shrub or liana/scandent/vine, not endemic, occurring in Amazônia, Caatinga,

Cerrado, Mata Atlêntica and Pampa biomes ( Flora do Brasil 2020). Widely cultivated as an ornamental ( Lorenzi

& Souza 2001).

Type host plants status. Native tree, not endemic, occurring in Cerrado and Mata Atlântica biomes ( Flora do Brasil 2020), cultivated as an ornamental on street arborization (in Flechtmann 2007) .

Type host. Taxodium distichum (L.) L. C. Rich. ( Taxodiaceae ), presently considered as belonging to as Cupressaceae family ( Flora do Brasil 2020; Tropicos 2020).

Type locality. Berkeley , California, USA .

Relationship to host plant. Vagrants on the needles and leaves, characteristic white cast skins as short streaks are observed on the foliage ( Keifer 1939).

Report in Brazil. ESALQ, Piracicaba (in this paper, specimens deposited at the mite collection in ESALQ, USP), São Paulo.

Remarks. It is the first report of this species in Brazil.

Type host plant status. Exotic tree, cultivated mainly as an ornamental, suitable for soaked places in the landscape composition ( Lorenzi et al. 2003).

Type host. Acalypha reptans Sn. (Euphorbiaceae) , presently referred as Acalypha chamaedrifolia (Lam.) Mull.Arg. (Euphorbiaceae) ( Wiersema 2019).

Relationship to host plant. Vagrants, mainly around galls caused by Aceria korikis Flechtmann & Moraes, 2002a (Flechtmann 2010) .

Remarks. Only known from the type host/locality.

Type host plants status. Exotic herb, commonly cultivated in beds as an ornamental ( Lorenzi & Souza 2001).
