Distribution and published records: The species was described by Švihla (1983) from Southern Iran and then reported also for Oman (Gizan, 1926, Fernandez lgt.), Saudi Arabia and Yemen (Švihla, 2004) and United Arab Emirates ( Švihla, 2008, Kubisz, 2020).

Notes. Individuals of this species are attracted to light. Examples of the habitat of this species can be seen in Fig. 5b and 5d.
