Dietze in MNHU, examined), [ Russia]: Altai, Ustk(amenogorsk) (treated as var. of E. pimpinellata in Staudinger & Rebel, 1901).
Eup[ithecia] vellicata Dietze, 1908 , Deutsche Entomologische Zeitung, Iris (1908) 21 (2/3): 173; ibidem (1906), 19 (3), taf. 2, fig. 16. Syntypes 2♀ (coll. K. Dietze and R. Püngeler in MNHU, examined), [ China]: Urumtschi (treated as subsp. of E. pimpinellata Hübner , [1813] in Mironov, 1990).
[ Eupithecia ] pimpinellata f. assimilis Dietze, 1913, Biologie der Eupithecien 2: 118; ibidem (1910), 1, taf. 76, figs 554–556; taf. 85, fig. 949. Syntypes 7♂, 2♀ (coll. K. Dietze in MNHU, examined), [ China]: [Xinjiang], Juldus [Yining] region; Ili region.
Also a widespread Palaearctic species. It was repeatedly described from areas of Russia and China bordering with Mongolia as E. altaicata Guenée , E. vellicata Dietze , and E. pimpinellata f. assimilis Dietze. It was recorded for the fauna of Mongolia by Viidalepp (1975) and Vojnits (1975) almost simultaneously. Mongolia (aimags): Bulgan, Tuv.
