Material examined: MALTA, Sliema, 14.vii–08. ix.2016, 2 ♂♂ & 9♀♀, from flowers of Limbarda crithmoides with larvae of Gymnoscelis rufifasciata ( Lepidoptera : Geometridae ) and Eublemma parva ( Lepidoptera : Erebidae), LF, NMS. GOZO, Ramla l-Ħamra, 28–31. vii.2016, 2 ♂♂, from flowers of Limbarda crithmoides infested with larvae of Gymnoscelis rufifasciata and Eublemma parva , LF, DMC, NMS [parasitoids determined by Mark Shaw; hosts determined by Michael Zerafa].

Notes: New record for the Maltese Islands. This species is a koinobiont endoparasitoid whose usual host is the gelechiid, Ptocheuusa paupella (Zeller) ( Lepidoptera : Gelechiidae ), and both of the above suggested hosts seem highly unlikely. However, additional host records from other Gelechiidae and also Cosmopterigidae are known ( Fernandez-Triana et al., 2014), but no such hosts emerged from the collected plant material.
