Diagnosis. Mandibles yellowish-brown, with a large tooth at apex and with a row of small teeth above large tooth (as in Fig. 111 View FIGURES 103–112 ); flagellum dark brown, 0.8× as long as width of mesoscutum, F4 0.7× as long as wide, apex of clava pointed ( Figs 9 View FIGURES 7–12 , 57 View FIGURES 51–57 ); frons between scrobes and eyes and vertex with strong reticulation ( Figs 84 View FIGURES 84–91 , 102 View FIGURES 92–102 ); occipital margin with an edge behind ocellar triangle ( Fig. 84 View FIGURES 84–91 ); mesoscutum and mesoscutellum with same colour and reticulation ( Fig. 31 View FIGURES 31–36 ); mesoscutellum convex; dorsellum flat, smooth and shiny, posterior margin with postero-median part slightly protruding and with parts lateral to median part slightly incised; fore wing completely hyaline, with six setae in apico-dorsal part of costal cell ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 7–12 ); fore and mid coxae dark brown ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 7–12 ); gaster ( Fig. 31 View FIGURES 31–36 ) 1.6× as long as wide; Gt 1 0.3× as long as length of gaster, dorsal surface smooth, posterior margin straight; Gt 6 0.1× as long as length of gaster with anterior part 2.4× as wide as width of posterior part, posterior margin straight with sharp edge.

Description (female holotype). Length 1.6 mm. Frons between scrobes and eyes and vertex with strong reticulation, scrobes smooth. Mandibles with a large tooth at apex and with a row of small teeth above large tooth. Occipital margin with an edge behind ocellar triangle. Dorsellum flat, smooth and shiny, posterior margin with postero-median part slightly protruding and with parts lateral to median part slightly incised. Propodeal callus with ten setae. Fore wing with six setae on dorsal surface of submarginal vein; with 17 admarginal setae; costal cell with 16 setae on ventral surface, partly in two rows, apico-dorsal margin with six setae; speculum distinct and closed below. Gaster long ovate; Gt 1 smooth and shiny without sculpture, remaining tergites with weak reticulation; Gt 1 with posterior margin straight,Gt 6 with posterior margin pointing slightly backwards.

Colour. Head black with metallic blue tinges, scrobes black. Mandibles yellowish-brown. Antennae with scape yellowish-brown, pedicel pale brown, flagellum dark brown. Mesosoma black with metallic bluish tinges. Legs with fore and mid coxae dark brown, hind coxa black with metallic tinges, trochanters yellowish-brown, fore femur yellowish-brown, mid and hind femora dark brown, tibiae and tarsi yellowish-brown. Gt 1 black with metallic blue tinges, remaining tergites dark brown to black with metallic tinges.

Etymology. Named in honor of Iván Jimenez, collector of holotype.
