Indian records. Central India — Kanduru (1981); India up to Delhi in the north— Korovchinsky (2000, 2004); General record— Fernando & Kanduru (1984).
Remarks. Valid species described from Far East of Russia ( Manujlova 1964). Writing " dubia " is grammatically incorrect.
Distribution. D. dubium s. str. is an Asian tropical-subtropical species, especially common in East Asia. In India it is relatively rare ( Korovchinsky 2004). " D. brachyurum " in Venkataraman & Das (1995a) is apparently D. dubium ( Korovchinsky 2004) .
