Macrothrix tobaensis Johnson, 1956

Indian records. General record— Fernando & Kanduru (1984).

Remarks. It was described from Indonesia ( Johnson 1956b). Smirnov (1976) regarded M. tobaensis as a valid species, then ( Smirnov 1992) he said that this taxon needs to be revised. So, any determinations of this taxon are impossible before the revision of specimens from its type locality, Lake Toba ( Indonesia). The record of Fernando & Kanduru (1984) seems to be very dubious.
