Indian records. General record— Fernando & Kanduru (1984).
Remarks. Valid species described from Norway ( Sars 1862a). Non-Holarctic records seem to be dubious. Recently it was found that the Far East populations belong to another genus, Nedorhynchotalona Kotov & Sinev, 2011 (see Kotov & Sinev 2011).
Distribution. Holarctic ( Smirnov 1971), other records seem to be problematic and should be revised.
