Distribution. Comoros: Anjouan, Grande Comore, Mohéli, Mayotte (new records); Madagascar ( Reuter 1887, Cachan 1952).

Comment. The taxonomic identity and tribal placement of this little known species is subject of a parallel publication currently under preparation (P. Kment, pers. comm.).
