Distribution by States in the Northeast Region of Brazil. Rio Grande do Norte; Pernambuco; Bahia; Alagoas; Sergipe.

Species from the Northeast Region of Brazil. Coeliaria almeidae Celante & Santos, 2024 ; Coeliaria bernardinensis ( Brèthes, 1925) ; Coeliaria castanea Churata-Salcedo & Almeida, 2017 [ new record] ( Fig. 8 ).

Material examined. Coeliaria castanea : “ Brasil, PE [ Pernambuco], Frei / Miguelino , 18.VIII.2014,/ Plantação de algodão,/ M.S. Lima col.” “ Coeliaria castanea / Churata-Salcedo & Almeida, 2017 / Santos, P. B. det 2014” [white label] 1 ex. [ DZUP 327203 ] .

Comments. Five of the six species of Coeliaria occur in Brazil, C. castanea is the third species documented for NE Brazil ( Churata-Salcedo & Almeida 2017; 2019; Celante et al. 2024).
