Type material.

Buprestis angustula Illiger, 1803 . Type not found. Described from unspecified number of syntypes. The taxonomic concept is judged from the generally accepted concept of this species.

Buprestis pavida Fabricius, 1792 . Primary: Lectotype by present designation, 3, ( ZMUC): “TYPE [p] red label] \ Patr. ignot. Mus. de Sehestedt Buprestis pavida F. [h]”. Secondary: 1 PLT ( ZMUC) . Described from unspecified number of syntypes.

Remark: The priority of the name angustulus Illiger, 1803 over the name pavidus Fabricius, 1792 has been ruled by ICZN (2009).
